British Holiday Homes in Europe, in high demand in 2006

European holiday homes and Britain are already experiencing strong demand for the year 2006, and there are some good reasons.

The first is undoubtedly the game of football (soccer) World Cup to be held in Germany from June 9-9. July. This is the biggest sporting event in the world outside of the Olympics and with Germany as so central to many of the participating teams, the fans by the millions already planning the long journey to Germany. And of course everyone will need a bed for the night, German police do not sleep too kind to drunks on park benches. It all adds up to an explosive demand for property in Germany for next summer, and demand is also coming from neighboring countries.

In the UK, the Open Golf Championship returns to Hoylake, Merseyside for the first time in almost 40 years. Liverpool and Chester are only 15 miles. This is a big event these days drawssolid masses (the competition will be held from July 20 to 23) and the resort location is much more accessible than some of the most remote Scottish courses that often host this festival of golf. The demand for housing in or near Hoylake, and can mean almost everything about 40 km away, this week has been particularly the last two years of phenomenal. Some residents are planning to go out and collect the equivalent of a year just to rent a week, many have bookedEnd of vacation in Florida and Australia. All this paid leave to change the rear view of the visit of Tiger Woods and company. If he can win Grand Slam? He will need to do to win at Hoylake.

Add into the mix of traditional attractions such as two weeks of Wimbledon, the Cheltenham National Hunt Festival horse racing and the English cricket team younger, and all the signs on the busiest summer for many years. If you are planning a trip to the UK or Europeby the summer of 2006, book your accommodation sooner rather than later. Latecomers could rapidly rising housing prices if they tried to find anything!

Of course, all this optimism may be affected by terrorist attacks, but luckily most travelers seem to be made of tough stuff. It 's almost as if each episode draws many visitors to an attitude of Churchill. "We are not intimidated or off the set of cowards!" And, so longbe the case. The message seems to be where a property, save by paying the rent in full, and do not take notice of withdrawal, unless a generous pay-off offer. It all seems like a fun summer. If you are planning a trip, happy trip!
